I made this after watching two episodes of Downton Abbey. I would usually make the dough in the mixer, but my mind was in Downton. I started mixing it in a regular bowl and I didn't realize what I was doing until I was already kneading it by hand. Wah! I felt like Daisy when Mrs. Patmore points out her bumbles.
I love Downton. I love this bread. Yay....
For the recipe, check out Erin's blog, the daily morsel. She was this week's TWD host!
the bread was definitely lovely and easy to make.ReplyDelete
I love Downtown Abbey too!
The bread sure came out amazing!ReplyDelete
Your bread looks great. It really is good. I loved making it and was pleased it wasn't difficult. The flavour and texture was amazing. Can't wait to make it again and again.ReplyDelete
Yum! I loved this recipe too!ReplyDelete
I loved how soft this dough/bread was! I'll have to check out Downton Abbey - I see references to it often. ~Happy Holidays!ReplyDelete
I've heard that Downton Abbey is wonderful, but I'm wary of getting addicted!ReplyDelete
I made mine all by hand, too. It's so satisfying.
Hints of floral spice. . . great description. This bread sounds delicious, can't wait to try it. Sadly, there just wasn't time this go 'round. Your bread looks just about perfect! Downton Abbey is a favorite here too, but it can be seriously addicting. ;-) Can't wait for the new season!ReplyDelete
